I drove by a pond at South 47th Avenue and 37th Street in Evans and saw a couple of mute swans, about 10 snowy egrets, a couple of great egrets, and a number of western grebes and one clarks grebe. The day before, at Fossil Creek Reservour, on the far west end, I saw a number of avocets, Wilsons Phaleropes, one white eyed ibis, and some pelicans. Rick Reeser Greeley
