Hi all,
Deb Carstenson and I went dashing down to Neenoshe reservoir hoping to see some
Whimbrel, but we had no luck with this bird. On 4/30 at Neenoshe we counted
13, Sanderlings at the edge of the mudflats. They were still in Basic plumage.
Many Marbled Godwits, Snowy Plovers, Semipalmated Plover, Wilson's Phalarope
and we saw other birds that were previously seen before. All sightings were
from the NW corner of the lake KIOWA county

5/1, at Lake Cheraw, we saw about 13, White-faced Ibis, along with 1, Glossy
Ibis. The bird was very close to highway 109, so looks were excellent. We saw
the other sighted birds mentioned by Ted.[ west side of the lake], OTERO county.

5/1, Hobrook reservoir, was viewed from the west side dam area. At least 260
Ibis[they were too far away for me to pick out any Glossy]. Many of the Ibis
were congregated so close to each other that it looked like there was no more
room for another Ibis to land and stand. We counted about 25 Forster's terns,
inaddition to other birds seen before by other birders. OTERO county.

Happy Birding,
Tina Jones
Littleton, Jefferson County
