Had a LOSH just E of the parking lot at Walden Ponds today. Also saw an American Bittern trying to land at 1 of the Sawhill Ponds, but was dissuaded by numerous Blackbirds. It flew off to the N where 1 of the Walden Ponds seemed to successfully swallow it up as I saw it descend. The Boulder County Yellow-rumped Warbler convention being held yesterday at Sale Lake had apparently moved over to the Walden Ponds Convention Center today.
