Hello, Birders.

If you have registered for the upcoming CFO convention, as nearly 200 of you
have (woohoo!), please check out this website:

http://www.cfo-link.org/events/field_trips.php

Click on the field trips to see which ones you will be attending. You'll also
find out who your field trip leaders are; and if you indicated carpooling
preferences, that information should appear as well. What an amazing website!
Thanks so much to CFO board member Brenda Linfield for getting this website up
and running. And let's not forget that former CFO board member Mark Peterson
got the whole ball rolling with all this great e-convention stuff, back when he
was on the board.

In case you somehow miss the bright red type at the top of the website with
field trip assignments, here it is:

**All owling trips are full and have been since mid-February, so there will be
no new participants added to these trips**

So, if you registered for the convention in March, please don't ask us if you
got onto one of the Boreal Owl trips because the answer is, You didn't.

But if you have any other questions about your field trip assignments, fire
away! Supplications regarding field trip assignments can be made to Her Divine
Highness, CFO Convention Registrar Maggie Boswell: [email protected]

A huge THANK YOU to Brenda L., Mark P., and Maggie B. for what they have
achieved: In a nuthshell, the CFO convention has emerged in recent years as one
of the finest regional birding and field ornithological events in North
America. Already, I've had a birding friend in another state ask me, in
essence, "Can we get some of that?"--in regard to the website with field trip
assignments. Thanks also to CFO president Jim Beatty, who has guided and
encouraged the whole board in the matter of planning for our conventions.

See you in Grand Junction!
