Hi All, I've been wondering if there is a behavior, or lack thereof, shown by the bird that can help in deciding whether it's wild or an escapee. Caged parakeets can be identified as such by their lack of ability to fly well because they haven't been able to 'practice' flight.
So is there some behavior we can observe in the bird that can lead us to one conclusion or the other? Or am I reaching?
