Greetings All,

After leaving Ted today, I went to Lagerman Res. and a McCown's Longspur flew
by along near edge of lake, calling.

After that, in Weld County, the pond at the corner of 119 and Co Rd 7 (entrance
to St Vrain St Pk) had 6 Common and one Forster's Tern.

St Vrain SP, WELD, had a singing e. Warbling Vireo and another Common Tern.

The Firestone Ponds (go e from I-25 on CO-119; turn n. of Rd 9.75 (9 3/4).
There are ponds on both sides of the road with birds. The best pond is the
first on the right after the gravel or cement place. That pond had another male
Mexican Duck (different from the one in Boulder based on markings), or birding
fitting description thereof. Also there was a female Barrow's Goldeneye and a N
Mockingbird. Last week, this pond held 46 Bufflehead and a BW x Cinnamon Teal.

Cheers
Steven Mlodinow
Longmont, CO
