Spotted a single male ww scoter in Wolford Mountain Reservoir about noon today. It was swimming in among a few western grebes in the very brown water of the res. It gave me a pretty view of its white patch to confirm the I'd. This reservoir is north of kremling on the road to steamboat.
Also was able to enjoy all the birds on the cherry creek SP count for a couple hours this morning. I tallied 50 species in two hours before leaving. My highlight was a kestral and coopers hawk having a dispute over a nest on the west swim beach.
