Hi cobirders. Sorry this is over a day late. However it is that time of year when migration is important to be preserved. I got there at 10:30AM at Cottonwood Lake (aka Marsh). I left about 1:45PM.

Highlights were:

White Pelican     about 20
Forster's Tern               2
Caspian Tern                1
Swallows  (six sp.)    est. 100 difficult to id and count)
Great-tailed Grackle      5 males & 5 females (did not stay long)
Great Egret                    1
Yellow Warbler               3  ( heard a few more)

Only the one Caspian tern could be found and I did not see a Least Tern.
There were Marsh Wrens but did not observe them.
