Kara Carragher and I birded around El Paso and Pueblo Counties today. Here are the highlights:

Kara and I decided to go there. Pueblo County: Huerfano Lake: REDDISH EGRET - 1 white morph, dancing around Black Terns - few flying around the lake South Road Pond: Common Loon - 1 Roselawn Cemetery in Blende around noon: Northern Parula - 1 singing male, near the pond (the song was a bit odd, so we were hoping it was something different, though after seeing it, it was a NOPA) There were many Western Tanagers and a MacGillivray's Warbler as well (this big cemetery should be birded more in the spring) Brandon Percival Pueblo West, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
