Greetings

In answer to Brandon's query:
Yes and Yes

Eastern Wood-Pewees can occasionally look pretty vested, and Western
Wood-Pewees can sometimes have mostly or entirely pale undersides to their
mandibles. Such dilemmas have twice caused me to follow pewees around for 30+
minutes in e. Washington in the past. Once, the bird FINALLY called, and it was
a Western WP (we have no records of Eastern in WA). Once, the bird (which
looked ever so intriguing) refused to call, and then had the decency to
disappear, so I did not spend an entire day following it about.

Sorry for the non-answer
Cheers
