Thanks to Thomas Heirnrich, who I ran into at Lamar Woods this morning where
he was birding with his brother, who told me that there was a singing Hooded
Warbler and singing Red-eyed Vireo at Temple Grove north of Lamar earlier I
changed my plans (I had already lost what I believe was the Philadelphia
Vireo which I had been trying unsuccessfully this week to photograph) and
decided to return there again. Since I had to get my car tire repaired
before leaving town (that is the second tire I have almost had a flat with
this trip) I did not get to Temple Grove until noon. It only took a few
minutes to hear the Hooded Warbler singing. He sang intermittently until I
finally left at 3 pm! I got some very close photos of him as well as some
nice video. I have uploaded a few still photos onto my Birds And
Nature<http://BirdsAndNature.blogspot.com>blog. I also got photos of
the Red-eyed Vireo but it's too late to get
those or the video of the Hooded up tonight. Also had an Olive-sided
Flycatcher. Though I did see the non-adult male American Redstart (it was
still singing) I did not refind the Mourning, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia or
Townsend's Warblers I found over the week-end so there had been a big
change in the bird group.

I have also uploaded photos of the Chestnut-sided Warbler and more photos of
the gorgeous Magnolia Warbler onto my Birds And
Nature<http://BirdsAndNature.blogspot.com>blog.
