Hey all! Just had a juvenile male Summer Tanager outside my house in Fort Collins. This is a Colorado first for me. I took some terrible video of the thing which shows how unsteady I am. But you can hear him calling in the background! He flew off toward the Spring Creek Trail. Which is just north of my house just east of shields by about 200 yards. Where would I check to see how rare this is for Larimer County? I don't recall seeing one posted in the county in the 6 years I've been a part of this group.
