I uploaded 2 pics of the Hooded Warbler, found by Thomas Heinrich, that I
photographed yesterday at Temple Grove @ Ft Lyon Canal showing it's
nictitating membrane coming up over it's eye. Since Hooded Warblers have
very distinctive black eyes, the nictitating membrane is quite apparent.
Photos on my Birds And Nature <http://BirdsAndNature.blogspot.com> blog. I
forgot to post last week that I photographed a Stilt
Sandpiper<http://birdsandnature.blogspot.com/2011/05/pretty-chestnut-cheeked-stilt.html>at
the Ordway Feedlot lagoon that shows it's pretty chestnut cheeks -due
to
all the warbler pics it is best to click on this
link<http://birdsandnature.blogspot.com/2011/05/pretty-chestnut-cheeked-stilt.html>to
find it.
