Greetings

This morning I birded Golden Ponds. Oddly, the riparian strip was quite windy,
but the north side of the ponds was not. At the northwest corner, there is a
small patch of open woods on the other side of a barbed wire fence. This area
was quite active. The highlight was a female ORCHARD ORIOLE. Also present was a
cooperative male MacGillivray's Warblers, several wood-pewees, a Willow Fly,
and a Dusky Fly.
