North of Chatfield is the relatively new "Platte Canyon Reservoir" (or similar
name) which sometimes contains large numbers of gulls. It is accessible from
Platte Canyon Drive, about 1/2 mile east of the intersection with C470. If
the gull is not found on Chatfield, that place is worth checking.
