On the way back from working on an Atlas Block, east of Pueblo. I briefly saw a cuckoo fly over Hwy 96, just east of Boone, Pueblo County. I didn't see the bird long at all, though it appeared to not have reddish in the wings. I couldn't re-find the bird. It could be along the Colorado Canal in Boone somewhere. I'll be in this area again in the future, and will certainly be looking for it. I wish I could be sure it didn't have reddish in the wings, though I didn't see it long enough to be sure.
