I think the clear day in Estes Park while it was overcast in the "valley"
all day yesterday worked in our favor.
We saw an ovenbird and a female Chestnut-sided Warbler in the marshy area
of the Matthews-Reeser Sanctuary this morning.
The ovenbird actually sang briefly at times.
I think there are at least eight elk calves in the sanctuary so one must
bird with care.
