Birders,

As Tammy hadn't seen the Broad-winged Hawk yet, we went over to Welchester
Tree Park about 6 pm and before we could find the hawk, Tammy found a
singing female Chestnut-sided Warbler. We first had it near the entry
bridge over the little canal and when we left, it was in the SE part of the
park singing away. Most of the time the song was not the usual "Pleased
pleased pleased to meet 'cha" but a longer rambling one.

The Broad-winged Hawk is still present and we found it at the west end of
the park. It flew to a tree above the gazebo but a couple of Blue Jays and
several Robins harassed it enough to make it fly a little east and to the
north of the creek.
