The pair of Eastern Phoebes at the Plum Creek footbridge have been there since
mid-April. They have a nest underneath the east side of the bridge and have
been carrying food to the nest for several weeks. I suspect little Eastern
Phoebes will fledge any day! As far as I know, this is the first record of
nesting Eastern Phoebes in Chatfield and Douglas County.

Those Eastern Phoebes have been in that area for quite a while so suspect
they may be nesting. My wife (Laura) and I saw them on June 2nd at the same
pedestrian bridge after
  we saw the Western Gull.
