CoBirders;
This morning, in the cool upslope fog, while monitoring our birdhouse trail
on the Stratton Open Space (SOS), I was able to capture almost all of the
Tree Swallow (TRES) females that I had missed in earlier attempts :)
In box SOS 10, the hen was wearing my band #: 2311-50820. She was banded
6/02/2010 as an After Second Year (ASY) F in SOS 2A
In box SOS 12, the hen was wearing my band #: 2311-50689. She was banded
6/11/2008 as an Second Year (SY) F in SOS 14.
In box SOS 15, the hen was wearing my band #: 2311-50791. She was banded
6/01/2009 as an SY F in SOS 19A.
In box SOS 26, the hen was wearing my band #: 2311-50793. She was banded
6/15/2009 as an SY F in SOS 27.
I also banded an Second Year F TRES in SOS 21, and an After Second Year F
TRES in SOS 38.
It was HATCH DAY in SOS 3, SOS 3A, SOS 12, SOS 15A, SOS 38.

The 5 Western Bluebird (WEBL) nestlings in box SOS 15 were ready to band, so
I did. Box 15 is now closed.

The Hedgehog Cactus and Prickly Pear are beginning to bloom .

Best wishes
Dave
