Wow! Thanks for all of the support for informally calling the bridge where
the Eastern Phoebes have successfully nested at Chatfield, "Phoebe Bridge."
Walbek Bridge was a distant second in the emails sent to me privately, but
that name did receive a few carefully reasoned votes, and drew upon
historical
precedents such as McNichols Arena, the Eisenhower Tunnel and the Washington
Monument (see the County birding web site for directions).

This may be the farthest west that Eastern Phoebes have successfully nested
in Colorado.
