Yesterday while hiking early around 6 a.m., I saw a small Warbler size bird atop a Ponderosa singing its heart out. I didn't have any binocs, but I noted a brilliant blue head or possible cap. Because of no binocs and the way the sun was hitting, I could not discern any other markings. I know this is vague, but any insight would be appreciated. I was hiking the Apex Trail which is adjacent to Heritage Square in Golden.
