Seeing a male Rufous Hummingbird on 6/25 at a feeder at the Aspen Guard Station 11 miles north of Mancos in Montezuma County (9200') was a surprise and thought to be a very early date. THEN, we get home yesterday, and this morning we have a male Rufous at our feeder (8400') in LaPlata County! Any others seen in the state as yet? Is this an early record? Jane Pedersen Durango
