I work at City Park 9 golf course, where I found a juvenile Robin up it our
storage barn. I heard him upstairs where it had to be 95+ degrees! I opened
the hay door in hopes he would see the light and fly out. Twenty minutes
later he was still up there. So I proceeded to shoo him out. In my failed
efforts he gained trust in me. I was able to scoot him on a wooden yard
maker and he stayed on it till I got it out the door. He then flew off. I
followed him to the shop where he landed on the grass and continued to call.
I was worried he wouldnt get any food. Out of nowhere his Mom or Dad came
flying in with a mouth full of worms... I got the greatest feeling of joy
for the little guy. Not a rare bird post but a happy ending!! Life is good.
