I LOVED seeing the Crested Caracara. Thanks to Duane Nelson. And a great bird is a great sight. BUT, I did notice that it one might not call it "the prettiest face in the room."
So I got to thinking that if the adult was that homely, what must the fledgling look like? Then I found this photo of a parent Caracara with a fledgling.
