Cobirders, For the first time in some years, there were over a dozen band-tail pigeons in Empire. They were on the power lines along Ball Street. Look also along the tall trees and snags in town. Calliope and rufous hummingbirds are back. Look at the feeders just west of the first east-west road south of Highway 40 (Mountain Avenue).
