Baca County:
--Indigo Buntings were reported by Wild in Cottonwood Canyon on July 12.
--A singing KENTUCKY WARBLER was heard by Wild in Cottonwood Canyon on
July 12 about a mile south of the large parking area.

Bent County:
--A Green Heron was reported by Kaempfer at Hasty Campground on July 9.

Boulder County:
--4 singing "Slate-colored" Fox Sparrows were reported by Floyd on the
south shore of Brainard Lake on July 10.
--A m American Three-toed Woodpecker was reported by Floyd on Long
Lake Trail off the west side of Brainard lake on July 10.

Crowley County:
--A LAUGHING GULL was reported by Wild flying by Lake Henry and
heading south on July 12.

Garfield County:
--A Scott's Oriole was reported by Zerbi 1/4 mile before going into
Prairie Canyon on July 17.
--2 Scott's Oriole were reported by Zerbi off Baxter Pass Road on July 17.

Jefferson County:
--Stachowiak reported that the PRAIRIE WARBLER continues at Corwina
Park on July 16.

Kiowa County:
--36 Snowy Plovers were reported by Wild at Neenoshe Reservoir on July 12.

Kit Carson County:
--A calling Black Rail was heard below the dam by Wild at Flager SWA on July 12.

Larimer County:
--8 American Three-toed Woodpeckers were reported by Hall on Deadman
Road near Red Feather Lakes in the 2 miles along the creek bottom on
July 10.
--An American Three-toed Woodpecker was heard by Schaum upslope of the
Endovalley Picnic area on July 13.

Las Animas County:
--Indigo Buntings were reported by Wild in Cottonwood Canyon on July 12.
--A Rufous-crowned Sparrow was reported by Wild in Cottonwood Canyon on July 12.

Mesa County:
--3 ad Green Herons were reported by Arnold at Connected Lakes on July 11.
--An ad male American Three-toed Woodpecker was reported by Arnold on
the top of Grand Mesa on July 12.  It was feeding young.

Morgan County:
--A Greater Roadrunner was reported by Mlodinow on the NE side of
Jackson Reservoir on July 10.  It was on CR 5 south of CR CC.

Ouray County:
--2 Caspian Terns were reported by Teuton in the Dallas Creek day area
of Ridgway SP on July 13.

Phillips County:
--2 Bell's Vireos were reported by Wild at Frenchman Creek SWA on July 13.

Teller County:
--A female American Three-toed Woodpecker was reported by Burns off
the Pancake Rock Trail on July 10.

Washington County:
--An imm NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported by Mlodinow on the dam at
Prewitt on July 10.

Weld County:
--A YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was reported by Elens at Glenmere Park
in Greeley on June 5 and was seen again by Lefko on June 7.  On June
7, Komar reported that the YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON appears to be
attempting to nest with a Black-crowned Night-Heron.  On June 28 Lefko reported
the YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON feeding 2 young.  On July 10, Stecher
reported that the YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was still on nest.
--A SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER was reported by Lefko in his yard on July 8 but it
flew away.  Later Hopper reported the flycatcher on the yard fence at
16449 CR 100 on the north side  -- 1/4 mile east of CR 100 and CR 33.
On the morning of July 10, Lefko reported the SCISSOR-TAILED
FLYCATCHER  at the above address and in the afternoon Kibbe reported
the flycatcher at 16508 CR 100 on the south side of the road.

Yuma County:
--An adult SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER was reported by Roller on CR Y
just south of CR 59 near the Phillips/Yuma county line on July 12.  A
SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER was reported by Wild on CR Y on July 13.
--At Bonny Reservoir, Wild reported Bell's Vireo and Field Sparrow on July 13.

The DFO field trip for Saturday, July 23 will be Wilderness on Wheels
led by Chris Blakeslee (303-694-4670) and Nina Routh (303-987-8687).
Meet the leaders at 0900 at Wilderness on Wheels, Grant, Colorado.
Wilderness on Wheels is located 2.5 miles west of Grant on the side
side of Hwy 285 at the foot of Kenosha Pass.  There is a big sign.
Wilderness has a 1-mile boardwalk through riparian and spruce/fur
habitats, including active beaver ponds.  This boardwalk was built for
wheelchair accessibility.  The group will also visit the tiny Bailey
Great Blue Heron Rookery.  Bring snacks and water for this easy-going
half day of mid summer birding.

The DFO field trip for Sunday, July 24 will be to Golden Gate Canyon
Park led by Randy Lentz (303-680-3381).  Meet at 0730 at park Visitor
Center, just west of CO 93.  Main group will bird until lunch.
Birding after lunch optional based on weather.
