At lunch time today I viewed an apparent young of year broad-winged hawk at Welchester Tree Park in Lakewood. It was being heavily harassed by local breeders and flew east along the drainage. As you may recall, one or more adults were seen in this area well into spring. So here's something to do in the dog days... be first to confirm with a picture! (I found that I-phones don't work too well in that regard...)
