Hi everybody,

About 10:30 this morning, the Tuesday Birders were treated to about 15-20
minutes of watching an American Three-toed Woodpecker on the Upper Maxwell
Falls hiking trail. The bird was seen pecking chunks of bark off a dead
Lodgepole Pine about half-way from the parking area to the falls. The bird
flew across the stream at that point and was not rediscovered by the group
before we left the park shortly after noon.

Mary Keithler, from Arapahoe County near Cherry Creek State Park
