Now that I am recovering from the surgical procedure 3 days ago, I have
edited 2 photos that I took on Monday of the Least Bittern at Holcim
Wetlands as I watched it patiently stalk it's prey. I was happy to have
better light just before 7am to get these pics compared to the fading light
at almost 7pm when I got my first photos of this bird. However, the bittern
was further away on Monday, more than 100 feet out but they do show the
bittern in it's classic stalking position and straddling cattails shoots, a
feat made possible by it's small size. I have uploaded these photos
to my BirdsAndNature
<http://BirdsAndNature.blogspot.com>blog.
