Hello all,

During the late morning on Wednesday, there was a small but pleasantly diverse
group of shorebirds at the Plum Creek delta at Chatfield State Park. There were
3 Semipalmated Plovers, about 5 Killdeer, 1 Willet, 1 Least Sandpiper, 3
Western Sandpipers, about 15 Baird's Sandpipers, and 1 Sanderling. In addition,
there were 12 White-faced Ibises, a Snowy Egret, and an Osprey. The same area
held 11 American Avocets and a Red-necked Phalarope on Monday afternoon; birds
come and go constantly and a new mix is possible each day.
