Birders,
The sub-adult dark-morph Reddish Egret was still present at Adobe Creek
Reservoir on 8/31/11. It may be getting a bit more predictable in
location. Today, it was on the sand spit on the north side of the
channel separating the north and south parts of the lake. By looking
east from the channel, one can see County Line Road, and determine
whether the bird is in Bent or Kiowa Counties. Lucky County listers may
get this spectacular bird in two counties.
