Yesterday, we saw the Rufous-collared Sparrow in Georgetown, around 8:15 am, at
Rose and 8th, near the white- picket fenced yard with the feeder. It flew
across Rose, toward the yards behind the large yellow building .

We first heard it while checking the yard where it was first found early in the
summer.

I had a short glimpse of it later in a sparse bush near the back of the
unoccupied gray house, just below the small window.

After breakfast, we had a mini fall-out (I think that's what it's called) with :
Wilson's Warblers : 25-30 (at least!)
Yellow-rumps : 4-5
Yellow Warblers : 2-3
Mac Gillivray's : 2
Warbling Vireos : 10 +
Cassin's Vireo : 1
All were in 2 trees in the gray house's yard. (Best view from the cul-de-sac
next to the house.)

Also in the same small area were a family of Red Crossbills (type?), a
Steller's Jay, Siskins, House Finches , House sparrows, at least a dozen
American Robins (one unfortunate one with an amputated leg who managed to feed
itself well but had difficulty landing), and a possible Cassin's Finch (not
sure on that one).
