Today, 9/29, a Bobolink was flying low with 6 Mountain Bluebirds, on dry grassland on lower Cat Creek in Conejos County - quite a surprise. At about 9,500 el., there was a Pine Grosbeak in Rio Grande County. Several Gray Jays at about 10,000 -10,5000 el. in Conejos County and 4 Clark's Nutcrackers in the short Cak Creek canyon, also in Conejos County. This junket began at Del Norte and went over the top via Summitville and down Alamosa Canyon. Fantastic foliage!! Virginia Simmon, Del Norte
