It was nice to get at least 1 cooler day! Had 2 FOS/unusual species for us.
Started the day with a Red-eyed Vireo. Then, mixed in with our apparently
never-ending supply of Chipping Sparrows, we found a Field Sparrow. A new
in-the-hand bird for me! Here's the rundown of today's 41 new birds (we
also had 9 recaps from recent days):

Red-eyed Vireo 1 (FOS)

Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1

Orange-crowned Warbler 4

Common Yellowthroat 1

Wilson's Warbler 1

Chipping Sparrow 28 (had our 300th CHSP today)

Clay-colored Sparrow 1

Field Sparrow 1

Lincoln's Sparrow 1

White-crowned Sparrow (Gambel's) 1

Pink-sided Junco 1

Open 6 days per week, weather permitting, through Oct 16. Next closed day
is Friday, Oct 7.
