Folks,

The Red-throated Loon was closest to the lake loop point.  A better look from 
the south shore makes me think the bird is in a transitional plumage.  It shows 
a solid dark back and no white on the gray head, face and neck.  There is a 
remnant red patch on the throat.  The 3 Surf Scoters are juvi/female types and 
in the middle of the lake along with the many ducks and grebes.
