All - not the easiest three-toed woodpecker to get to, but we saw one
on the Estes Cone 2.6 miles from the Long's Peak trailhead ranger
station at 4:00 p.m. Friday, 10/21. A hairy landed right next to him
and worked the same trunk; very nice for comparison! Elevation was
about 10,500 feet.
