Hi Cobirders! I am passing along the following report from Kansas birder,
David Seibel, who is on a photography trip with my brother-in-law, Dave
Bryan.

"I'm in Colorado with Dave Bryan and several other photographers this
weekend, and I found (and got some decent photos of) a female Northern
Parula in downtown Estes Park, Larimer County. I thought someone might be
interested in knowing about it, and I'm not a member of the listserv and
don't have much time right now to figure out how to join.

"Detailed location info: the bird was along the creek that runs beside a
little group of restaurants downtown, which includes a Subway and (I think)
a restaurant called Poppy's Pizza. It was foraging on the ground in some
low spreading plants right beside a parking lot, and then it moved down
beside the creek. It was near a Yellow-rumped Warbler when I first saw it."

PS: A male Varied Thrush was in SW Kansas this afternoon, so the regional
'invasion' continues.
