Today, latter in the day around 3:00pm I looked at birds at Marston Reservoir : 
11/11/2011, Birds are not listed in order.Many Common Mergansers and 
Red-breasted Mergansers flew into the lake at this time. [At least 300 Common, 
and around 32 Red-breasted].Horned Grebes, 3 Eared Grebes, Pied-billed Grebe, 
Western GrebeAt least 150 Hooded Mergansers,3,Common Loon3,m. Greater Scaup & 
16 Lesser ScaupAt least 32 Common Goldeneye [way far out]Canvasback, Redhead, 
Ring-necked Duck, Northern Pintail, American Widgeon, Northern Shoveler, 
Gadwall, and other puddle ducksLesser Black-backed gull, Bonaparte's Gull, and 
other very common winter Gulls 11/10, Marston Reservoir : on this day and on 
11/11, birds were FAR out in the middle of the lake, with the exception of the 
Hooded Mergansers. All of the birds seen on 11/11 were seen on 11/10 but in 
much lesser numbers, and no Canvasbacks were seen on 11/10. 7-8, Common Loons 
were on the lake 11/10. American Coots were in large numbers on both days. 
11/10, Ft. Logan Cemetary, the eastern most pond, 1, f. Greater Scaup, 1, Ruddy
