Hi birders,
There was a "WESTERN" PALM WARBLER in what seems to be an almost traditional
spot for the species in Boulder this morning. Here's the exact location:

I found it around 10:20 am. It was associating with two Oregon and one
Pink-sided Junco and a Downy Woodpecker. They birds seem to like that line of
pine trees along the train tracks. I also heard a Yellow-rumped Warbler flying
over. Scott Severs reported a White-throated Sparrow near his office in this
area a couple of days ago on eBird. This was the reason for my creeping around
this business park. I did not have any luck with that sparrow. I just spoke
with Bill Kaempfer who reports that he and Peter Gent are watching the Palm
Warbler at about 12:20 pm.
There's an immature ROSS'S GOOSE hang out out with the White-cheeked Geese at
Sixmile Reservoir, but otherwise things seem to be a bit slow and the wind is
still making the birding a bit frustrating.
Good birding,
