Today, Nov. 17, there was a Horned Grebe at Home Lake. We seldom see them in the San Luis Valley. Other grebe tidbits: there was one Pied-billed Grebe, but Eared, Western, and Clark's have departed. Otherwise at Home Lake: Am. Wigeons, No. Shovelers, Lesser Scaups, Buffleheads, Mallards, many Can. Geese, and, of course, Am. Coots. Virginia Simmons, Del Norte
