I've downloaded photos of a few of the more unusual birds that Lisa, John, Nick, and I saw today. They can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/photos/brandonsbirdphotos/
I want to THANK Joe Roller, Forrest Luke, Doug Kibbe, and Jeff Dawson who were looking at the Common Ground-Dove, when we arrived this morning. The four of us got to see the bird, while we were still in the vehicle as we arrived! Another example of how Colorado birders are extremely helpful in helping each other see the bird! Also, a big thanks to Lisa Edwards for asking me to come on this trip today, a very fun day in Northeastern Colorado for sure -- of course, if we had only seen the Common Ground-Dove, it would have still be a good day. Though when you add other things like Wood Thrush, Northern Parula, Hooded Warbler, Rusty Blackbird, I'd say it was a great day! Also, It is always fun to run into birders who I've known for years, and don't see very often. It was great to see the Bill and Inez Prather at Jumbo Reservoir and Forrest Luke today, and everyone else of course!
