The Redpoll has not been since this first posting. A Sharp-shinned Hawk that was hanging around the yard yesterday afternoon probably didn't help matters. The picture that I got through the kitchen window is embedded in my ebird checklist; not a great picture but enough to ID the bird. jack harlan E. Boulder County
