Folks- Firestone Ponds are W. of Weld Co. Rd. 9 3/4, @ Weld Co. Rd. 24.5. Take Hwy 119 exit from I25, head E. towards Firestone. Just past Home Depot, turn N. on WCR 9 3/4. Head N. to concrete plant, pond is just N. of WCR 24.5.
About 15 min ago birds (scaup, Redheads, Tufted, etc.) got up, looped around a few times, & flew north. If they aren't back check other area ponds & St. Crain State Park on W. side of I25.
