I had been searching Chatfield for several hours this afternoon for the Brants but was not having any luck.
Bill Schmoker showed up and with another party (Vince) having seen the Brants fly...we were able to locate the Brants in a field south of the model airplane park. Bill and I were able to walk within 40ft of the birds and were able to take many photos. These two birds were almost tame, basically were not bothered by us at all.
