I was able to relocate the 1st winter Harris's Sparrow in the area just east of the Boat Launch area by walking east on the trail along the shoreline. The mixed sparrow flock included large numbers of Am. Tree Sparrows, some Song Sparrows, a few White-crowned, the 1st year Harris's plus some House Finches. There was an Eastern male Downy working the same area as well. I could not find either the Stub- tailed Wren or adult Harris's Sparrow. Some Cackling Geese among the large flock of White-cheeked Geese on the frozen lake.
