I just had a phone call from my son who lives on 28th ST. between Bonnell and the University. He wanted to know how to get a flock of hundreds of Robins to move on. They are scaring the Chickadees away from the feeders. Brad says the flock has been there for 2 or 3 day and cover about a 6 block area. Any comments from the bird experts reading this? I have never seen a flock that large. Have had 75 to a 100 in my yard in past years. Where did they come from and what are they eating? Bonnell is just to the east of 8th Ave. on 22nd St.
8th Ave to 11th Ave between 26th St. and 20th St. approximate location. My son says you have to be blind to miss them.
