I guess my photos aren't very good, flight shots would be helpful probably. So, hopefully some better photos can be taken. I don't hear a lot of people saying it is for a Slaty-backed Gull (like no one), so people may not want to come all the way down here to see some hybrid gull. It sounds like it could be a Great Black-backed x Herring Gull hybrid, which I'd never heard of before. Too bad they look kind of similar to Slaty-backed Gulls. Gulls are way annoying. Other gulls on the tires at the South Shore Marina late in the day yesterday, were two adult like Lesser Black-backed Gulls, and the adult Great Black-backed Gull. No sign of the Glaucous Gull.
