Hi Birders In an attempt to know how regular American Dippers are in Adams Co.. I watch Clear Creek regularly. I made two Am. Dipper sightings this aftermoon. The first was about 100 yards east of Lowell Blvd, near where wires cross the bike path, at 4:15 pm. The second was on the upstream side of the bike path bridge a few minutes later. I cannot comfirm two birds. I could not relocate a Dipper as I returned to my car at Lowell and 55th Pl. This would be an easy distance to fly, although I didn't notice any motion. Other birds seen: Am. Kestrel, Belted Kingfisher, Downy Woodpecker, Mallards, and Gadwall. Bob Canter, Denver Co.
