On Thursday I headed to Wolf Creek Ski area from Silverthorne and had a
nice variety of raptors including a Northern Shrike in Leadville, several
Red-tailed Hawks, a Ferruginous Hawk along Hwy 285 south of the
intersection with Hwy 17, a couple of American Kestrels and a male Northern
Harrier near Saguache.

Today, I spent a short time at the Blue River Water Treatment Plant in
Silverthorne (Summit County) where there were 8 species of duck.  Specifics
are below; there were at least 13 Barrow's Goldeneye but could have been a
few more as I had 4 individual female Goldeneye which I was not able to
positively ID.   There were also at least 5 Common Goldeneye.

Below is a copy of the eBird report that I submitted showing breakdown of
the individual species:

~7 more around the back of the pond
Bufflehead (Bucephala albeola)  2     male & female
Common Goldeneye (Bucephala clangula)  5     3M & 2F,incl. one immature
molting into adult plumage.   Also had ~4 un-ID'd Goldeneye species females
Barrow's Goldeneye (Bucephala islandica)  13     8M & 5F.   Also had ~4
un-ID'd Goldeneye species females
duck sp. (Anatinae sp.)  4     ~4 un-ID'd Goldeneye species females
